Take action and email your lawmaker to support the ability of our local communities to make their own decisions about allowing Sunday liquor sales in stores.

We all know South Carolina’s laws are outdated, and it is time they are changed to reflect the current climate and follow the natural progression of our state’s tourism sector. Allowing counties to decide about their own Sunday liquor laws will create new revenues for communities, help small businesses by increasing sales and bring fairness to the alcohol industry. We need our lawmakers to pass legislation that will continue to allow “home rule” in this state. Ask state lawmakers to pass legislation that will permit local communities to decide whether or not they want liquor sales on Sunday, just like they’ve already done for beer and wine.
